Bed was ordered deliver within 5 days. Delivery people set it up no problem. There was a problem with motor not working 3yrs after bought but covered under 5yr guarantee replaced within 3days. Had problem Dec last year part of motor sheared off so not work no longer in guarantee as bought bed in 2011 had to pay for new motor from maintenance firm HSL use cost £252 had to wait about 16 days to be fitted. Handicare were very attentive when we made our initial enquiry and due to the urgency due to my Father's decline in health we and with went along with their advice. Within 24 hours Handicare held a video call with me to assess if a stair lift could be fitted and took a £1500 deposit from my Parents account (consented by my parents) a chair lift was recommended, which was their top of the range, again because of the urgency we went along with this, It was a very stressful time for us with Healt
After having the bed for a few months I would say it is not worth the money I paid for it. Other companies with the same spec bed are about £2000 cheaper which is very annoying. Got ripped off slightly.
Excellent speed in replying to my initial enquiry, The fitting of the lift was quick, clean and very efficient.
Returning the footplate to its normal position after use is very noisy.

Everything was first class from the assessor right down to the fitting of the chair lift I cannot speak more highly of the fitter who explained it all so clearly and we are very pleased with it from start to finish.So thank you stannah for making our lives better.
