We had problems virtually from day one. I must admit that the engineers tried their best but they were working on poor equipment. I have a feeling that we paid fo a new stairlift but was left with the feeling it was a reconditioned one . As soon as the one year warranty ended I had to renew both batteries but it was never the same again. We are both in our seventies and in the near future are going to need a replacement stairlift but are wary of purchasing again. Also the lottery on pricing is a
