Could not ask for anything better

Very helpful and delivered in double quick time--made getting up and downstairs so easy.

We were very pleased with the whole process, from the very prompt initial visit to the actual installation, all done very well and within the indicated timescale.

I recalled them due to it being slow and wobbly, as they had replaced from straight stair lift to one that went around the corner, at my request due to getting off the steps. The first was great, but the one that goes round corners is NOT smooth running, and almost comes to standstill before the final turn.

Stairlifts are a huge rip-off. Acorn seem have control of a large part of the market. The quality of the acorn lift is poor. I suspect the materials the lift is made from and the design is old, probably 1980s. Little or no development has happened since. The market has grown vastly since the then and the profits must now be enormous but this isn't reflected in the price, developments or improvements. Social services funding is undoubtedly keeping the price far higher than it should be and

Using up quite a lot more salt than expected. About 2 blocks per week but we love the water! Also the app link to the softener can’t work but it’s not necessary.
